The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has announced the successful centralization of its payroll operations under a single processing center. The transition consolidates payroll management for all of the department's more than 430,000 employees and medical facilities, completing the administrative overhaul 15 months ahead of its original late-2027 target.
