Veterans Advantage Launches New Web Site for U.S. Military, Veterans and Their Families

Veterans Advantage

Greenwich, CT -- Veterans Advantage Inc. announced a significant upgrade of its www.veteransadvantage.com Web site that includes greater functionality and more information and resources for all members nationwide.

The upgrade complements the company’s comprehensive member support initiatives, which include physical membership materials sent to each member, weekly email communications of special benefit updates, and its call center to provide live and personalized benefit access support.

“For those who served our country, access to benefits is key, and this significant site upgrade delivers on that need,” said Scott Higgins, founder and CEO of Veterans Advantage, a Vietnam Veteran. “We are very pleased with the design and functionality. Most importantly, the new site emphasizes our commitment to deliver special everyday benefits to this special group, and to innovate in the way that they’re delivered.”

Since President’s Day 2001, these benefits and members-only discount program have been administered through www.veteransadvantage.com, the Web home for U.S. Active Duty military, Veterans, National Guard, Reserve and their families. All active members qualify for full online access to the new site, and non-members are encouraged to enroll in a 30-day trial to get these discounts immediately. Newly launched benefits added to the program includes discounts from Red Roof Inn, T-Mobile & AT&T Wireless, John Hancock Financial Network, and Coleman outdoor gear.

Additionally, the Web site continues to pioneer in the area of being an awareness and outreach vehicle for all things affecting our U.S. military and their families. Many topic and news areas of the site focus on specialized physical and mental health services for those returning from war, the newly enhanced G.I. Bill helping our service members get a quality college education, and the latest from legislators in Washington and State capitals.

In its News section for instance, Veterans Advantage continues its decade long commitment to profile leaders in business, government, sports and the arts that have served in our military or are a family member of someone who has served. This week, Veterans Advantage carries an exclusive interview with Verizon Wireless CEO Lowell McAdam, a Navy military veteran, and is honoring him with its TopVet award for his accomplishments in business.
“Veterans Advantage is proud to tell the stories of American servicemen and women who have achieved great success in their chosen field or made significant contributions to our society as a whole,” added Higgins.
