What United flights are eligible for the WeSalute+ discount? 

United flights leaving from the U.S.and Canada to destinations in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean and Europe, and United’s regional services with United Express®-operated flights are all eligible for the 5% OFF United WeSalute+ discount.

United WeSalute+ discounts are redeemed with your individually- unique, personal WeSalute+ ID Card Travel Code in United.com reservations or the United app and can be applied to Economy, Economy Plus, United Premium Plus, United Business and United First Class fares and are available for booking everyday, without blackout dates. As additional perks with your WeSalute+ ID Card  you may redeem an unlimited number of United WeSalute+ discounted tickets year round, and apply your military savings to up to 8 travelers on your same itinerary.

Plus, for even greater benefits, your United WeSalute+ military discount is combinable with earning United miles. When you enroll in MileagePlus, United's free loyalty program, you will automatically earn MileagePlus points each time you travel with your WeSalute+ discount ticket savings.

How do I get the United 5% OFF WeSalute+ military discount?

Use your WeSalute+ ID Card: United's military and veteran travelers and their family members who carry the WeSalute+ ID Card, our secure military ID, are eligible for the 5% OFF United WeSalute+ military discount.

You can redeem your 5% OFF United WeSalute+ military discount when booking your tickets online at United.com or in the United app. You can also learn about how to redeem your United WeSalute+ discount with redemption instructions in the WeSalute Marketplace, or in your 60-page color-printed WeSalute+ Members Benefits Directory, sent to you via First Class Mail, along with your secure military WeSalute+ ID Card.

United WeSalute+ discounts are also combinable with United’s active duty military benefits program for active duty personal travel. United offers active duty military travelers and their dependents up to 3 free checked bags, each weighing 70 lbs maximum, for personal travel plus the extra privileges of priority boarding, and United lounge access. Active duty military traveling on orders get a total of 5 free checked bags per traveler and can take advantage of United's military pet program (at select destinations). Active duty must show their government-issued military ID card and official military travel orders at check-in to redeem their United military benefits.

How do I book my discounted fare on United.com with my United WeSalute+ discount?

Enter your personal WeSalute+ Travel Code: Simply use your WeSalute+ Travel Code from your WeSalute+ ID Card in the United online reservations form when you purchase your tickets on United.com or United app for immediate secure online booking with no advance purchase requirement. You may also access your personal Travel Code when logged into your private WeSalute+ account and it is supplied to you in “How to Redeem” the United WeSalute+ instructions in the WeSalute Marketplace on WeSalute.com.
