Scott's View: Honor, Heritage, and Unlocking More Airline Value
This month brings two monumental anniversaries in American military history. On October 13, we celebrate the 251st birthday of the United States Navy, which grew from a small Continental Congress resolution into the world's premier maritime force.
Even earlier, this coming Sunday, October 11, we mark the historic 250th anniversary of the Battle of Valcour Island. In October 1776, a group of brave patriots led by Benedict Arnold built a fleet from scratch in the wilderness of upstate New York. Though outmatched, their raw resourcefulness bought precious time for the revolution.
At WeSalute, that same spirit of resourcefulness and dedication drives us to build a better, safer platform for you.
