Scott's View: Getting Ready for National Military Appreciation Month

Scott Higins

As the calendar changes from April to May, we turn our attention to a very important time of the year: National Military Appreciation Month.

Created by Congressional declaration, May includes many designated days that provide us the opportunity to celebrate and commemorate service and sacrifice: Loyalty Day, Silver Star Service Banner Day, Military Spouse Appreciation Day, VE Day, Armed Forces Day, Month of the Military Caregiver, National Day of Prayer, Mother’s Day, Fleet Week, and Children of Fallen Patriots Day. The month culminates with Memorial Day on May 31.

As we move through the month, we’ll be introducing lots of special offers. So, enjoy the spring weather, the celebrations and commemorations of May and keep an eye on your email box!
