The Points Guy, a travel and lifestyle media platform, released its annual "Best and Worst Airlines in the United States" rankings of the 10 largest U.S. domestic carriers, and United finished highest among U.S.-based global carriers — well ahead of American Airlines and Delta Airlines. Overall, United ranked second, right behind Alaska Airlines.

In the article, The Points Guy wrote that United "performed solidly in a number of our criteria, including route network, cabin comfort, baggage and change fees and lounges"
