Benefit News: United Ranked No. 1 U.S.-Based Global Carrier

The Points Guy, a travel and lifestyle media platform, released its annual "Best and Worst Airlines in the United States" rankings of the 10 largest U.S. domestic carriers, and United finished highest among U.S.-based global carriers — well ahead of American Airlines and Delta Airlines. Overall, United ranked second, right behind Alaska Airlines.

In the article, The Points Guy wrote that United "performed solidly in a number of our criteria, including route network, cabin comfort, baggage and change fees and lounges"

The Points Guy compiles the rankings by assessing airfare, bag and change fees, route network, on-time arrivals, cabin comfort, customer satisfaction, lost baggage, involuntary bumps, frequent flyer program and lounges. United spoke with The Points Guy Analyst Julian Mark
