Scott’s View: Happy Holidays and Wishing You a Wonderful New Year’s 2023

Scott Higgins

We thought there’s no better way to cap off the year than recognizing all that Gary Sinise has done for the military and veteran community. Many know him for his fictional Vietnam War soldier Lieutenant Dan in Forrest Gump, (a rank I also held in reality during my service in Vietnam, but that’s another subject).

Over 30 years later, Sinise continues to inspire. While he did not serve in the military, veterans are first and foremost his life’s calling. His Gary Sinise Foundation provides a wide range of programs, services and events for those who have served, wounded vets in particular. Thanks to Gary, Gold Star families will experience a holiday season to remember this year at Walt Disney World. Our mutual partner, American Airlines, will be transporting these special Americans from all around the country, to the event.

I wanted to take a moment to recognize all that you and your family have done for this nation. We honor your service and are grateful for your sacrifice. We are committed to continue to advocate on your behalf. Thank you for your support of Veterans Advantage in our efforts to create greater respect, recognition and rewards for you and your family.

From all of us on the Veterans Advantage team, we wish you Happy Holidays and good health and prosperity in 2023!
