TopVet: Ralph Crosby, Northrop Grumman

Ralph Crosby is a corporate vice president and President of the Integrated Systems Sector of Northrop Grumman Corporation. Based in Dallas, the sector is an aerospace systems integration enterprise in which airborne systems and subsystems are designed, developed, produced, and supported. Previously, Mr. Crosby was corporate vice president and general manager of the company’s Commercial Aircraft Division.

Before joining Northrop Grumman in 1981, where he has held a series of key management positions, Mr. Crosby had served as an officer in the Army, with tours of duty in Germany, Vietnam, and stateside. In his last military station, he was assigned as Military Staff Assistant to the Vice President of the United States.

Mr. Crosby, who was born in 1947 in Greenville, South Carolina, earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point, a Master’s degree in international studies in Geneva, Switzerland, and a Master’s in public administration from Harvard University.

In 1997 and 1998, he chaired the WalkAmerica campaign for the North Texas Chapter of the March of Dimes. One of the largest volunteer events in North Texas, the walk raised $4.9 million over those two years for research and education in the fight against birth defects.
