JetBlue Offers Active Duty 5% OFF Base Fares on Leisure Travel

JetBlue offers U.S active-duty military members and their immediate family 5% OFF Military Fares or “MIL fares”.

MIL fares can be applied to destinations in the U.S., Caribbean, and Latin America. The active-duty military member must be one of the passengers traveling to qualify for this leisure travel fare.

MIL fares have limited availability as they are not without limitations. These fares do NOT have last seat availability. MIL fares are tied to availability in a single JetBlue fare class (M, R or V class). Once the fare class is no longer available, the MIL Fares for that flight won't exist. Details of the Offer

The 5% MIL fare is nonrefundable.
The MIL fare change fees are the same as JetBlue’s public non-refundable fares.
MIL fares must be booked by phone reservation.
Immediate family members may travel with or without the active duty serviceperson, as long as you are able to provide the requested verification documents.
The phone reservation agent will require the service member name, branch of service, and military rank.

Terms & Conditions

Immediate family members including spouses and children, and non-duty personnel may qualify for the MIL fare when traveling with or without an active duty military member. Immediate family members may travel on a MIL fare independently as long as they are able to present the proper identification.

Active duty U.S. military members traveling on orders, and dependent family members traveling on the same reservation will receive up to 5 checked bags each at no charge. Active duty U.S. military members traveling for leisure, and dependent family members traveling on the same reservation, will receive up to 2 checked bags each at no charge. To qualify, active military members traveling on orders must show travel orders and a valid DoD Common Access Card (CAC), and members traveling for leisure must show a valid DoD CAC, at the airport ticket counter to verify eligibility. Subject to weight and size limits, and exceptions for itineraries including flights marketed or operated by other airlines. Other restrictions apply.
