Why is WeSalute a Public Benefit Corporation (PBC)?

WeSalute (founded as Veterans Advantage PBC) team

As a Registered Public Benefit Corporation (PBC), WeSalute (founded as Veterans Advantage) is recognized for its socially responsible mission. We are proud to be acknowledged for the work we do to honor military, veterans, and their families through financial empowerment, community support and education.

Because we are a PBC WeSalute operates with enhanced accountability based on its socially-responsible mission, placing its positive impact on the military community as its chief obligation. This powerful structure aligns the company’s obligations perfectly with its social mission, and is the same approach that drives innovative companies like Anthropic, the developer of Claude, and Open AI.

For over 25 years, with the help of our Board of Advisors, WeSalute has dedicated itself to enhancing the lifestyles of the military community. We stand by those who serve and their family members, with offers, support and advocacy, from enlistment to the day they decide to re-enter civilian life, build a family and eventually retire.
