History is unfolding right before our eyes. We are now officially less than a month away from July 4, 2026 — the Semiquincentennial, or America’s 250th Anniversary. Two and a half centuries ago, a bold and unprecedented experiment in self-governance was born. As the nation prepares for this historic milestone, it is a time for profound reflection on how a fragile collection of colonies transformed into the world’s greatest beacon of liberty.

At WeSalute, we know that this 250-year journey was not guaranteed. It was written, chapter by chapter, through the unyielding courage and profound sacrifice of our military service members and veterans. From the freezing trenches of Valley Forge to the modern battlefields of the 21st century, the burden of maintaining this great experiment has always rested on the shoulders of the less than one percent who step forward to defend it. Every right we enjoy, every milestone we celebrate, and every generation that has grown up in freedom is a direct result of those who wore the uniform.
