Scott's View: Super Bowl Head Coaches Andy Reid & Bruce Arians Had Military Dads

We hope you enjoy today's VetFamily feature story on Kansas City Chiefs Head Coach Andy Reid, the son of a hard-charging disciplinarian Navy father.

After a stint as an assistant coach for the Super Bowl-winning Green Bay Packers in the 1990s, he dedicated countless hours and over a decade to his efforts leading the Philadelphia Eagles. He never received the Lombardi Trophy in Philadelphia, but undaunted, he jumped to guide the Kansas City Chiefs and is now one win away from his second consecutive championship.

Reid’s rival in the Big Game on Sunday, February 7, is Bruce Arians, who also comes from a VetFamily. They are both among the elder statesmen in the NFL with a combined 55 years of National Football League experience. Reid is 5th on the all-time coaching wins list with 238.
