TopVet: Albert F. Myers, Northrop Grumman

As Corporate Vice President and Treasurer at Northrop Grumman, Albert F. Myers has responsibility for banking, risk management, benefits administration, pension and savings investments, mergers and acquisitions, trust management, and cash management. He was elected to his current position in 1994, 13 years after coming to Northrop Grumman as manager of flight controls engineering at the company’s former B-2 Division.
From 1972-75, while serving on active duty in the Army, he was stationed at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s Dryden Flight Research Center. He remained at Dryden after leaving the Army, holding a number of key positions, including chief of the controls branch. For his work there, Mr. Myers received the NASA Exceptional Service Medal and the 1981 Dryden Director’s Award.
Mr. Myers was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, in 1946. He earned his bachelor of science and master of science degrees, both in mechanical engineering, from the University of Idaho. In 11992, he completed an Alfred P. Sloan Fellowship at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, from which he received a master of science in industrial management.
