Trusted Military and Veteran Service Organizations

Organizations Doing Good for Veterans and Their Families

There are more than 45,000 military and veteran non-profits in the United States. It's hard to know which ones are legitimate, and worth giving your time and hard-earned money. You need to know whether your donations are funding services for those in need, especially with so many recently exposed scams.

With respect and recognition at the core of our mission, we would like to recognize the following trusted organizations, many of which we have been privileged to work with and donate to over the years. We commend them for the quality of services they deliver to our nation's veterans:

Fisher House Foundation

Fisher House Foundation is a national not-for-profit organization established to provide support for the Fisher House program that provides free housing and "a home away from home" for the families of patients receiving medical care at major military and VA medical centers. Since its founding in 1990 by Zachary and Elizabeth Fisher, the organization has helped more than 305,000 families, saving them more than $360 million in out-of-pocket costs for housing and transportation.

WeSalute (founded as Veterans Advantage) honored Ken Fisher with our VetFamily Award in recognition of his leadership as the head of the Fisher House Foundation in 2010, and again in 2016 for his leadership as chairman of the Invictus Games for wounded veteran athletes in Orlando.
