Cover Story: Veterans Advantage, Reebok Outlets Partner in 40% OFF "Share the Savings" Offer to Support the Troops

Veterans Advantage Inc., a nationwide membership program providing new service benefits for U.S. Veterans, National Guard, Reservists, active duty military and their families, announced a special partnership with Reebok Outlets to reward overseas troops this August 11-15, 2004 with a special 40% OFF* invitation only offer.

Both companies are promoting a special "Share the Savings" Sales Event Wednesday, August 11 through Sunday, August 15, where a portion of sales will fund a special Veterans Advantage benefit initiative to thank National Guardsmen and Reservists troops serving overseas. Shoppers were able to "save & donate" at Reebok, Rockport, Greg Norman and Ralph Lauren Footwear Outlets with 40% OFF their purchases over this time period. These outlets will share a portion of their sale proceeds with Veterans Advantage by donating to their initiative to thank the troops.

"We salute Reebok Outlets for this shared vision in helping us expand our reward initiatives for our troops," said Scott Higgins, Founder and Chief Executive of Veterans Advantage.

This special 40% OFF invitation is valid at over 150 Reebok, Rockport, Greg Norman and Ralph Lauren Footwear Outlet Stores nationwide.

The special weekend promotion represents an expansion of Veterans Advantage "Recycle & Reward" program, which is currently underway with over 25 municipal, police and fire authorities nationwide to collect used cellular phones to fund prepaid Veterans Advantage benefit programs as well. And for Reebok Outlets, the promotional weekend enhanced an existing partnership with Veterans Advantage. Reebok Outlets currently offers Veterans Advantage members 20% Everyday Savings in their outlet locations nationwide, including its Rockport, Greg Norman, and Ralph Lauren Footwear Outlet Stores. Members simply show their Veteran Advantage Card at the register to receive their discount. (The 40% OFF Share the Savings promotion cannot be combined with the 20% Everyday Savings during this time period).
