Scott's View: VetFamily for Pink & Remembering the Korean War Armistice

Scott's View

Our VetFamily this week is the iconic pop singer Pink. The daughter of a Vietnam veteran with many other vets in her family, Pink is passionate about veterans and military causes:

“At the end of the day, it’s not political. These are the people that are sacrificing time with their children and time with their families to defend freedom of speech and freedom in general and in their minds it’s always for the right reason.”

You’ll enjoy reading her story!

Today is the 67th anniversary of the Korean War armistice. As our nation continues to struggle to keep the peace with North Korea, we are grateful for our Korean War veterans who put their lives on the line to ensure the peace that has continued to hold for nearly seven decades. Thank you to all our Korean War Veterans!

Be well and stay healthy!
