Extended Stay America® and Veterans Advantage® Create Exclusive Benefits to Recognize Veterans, Active Duty Military and Their Families

Extended Stay America & Veterans Advantage

Veterans Advantage, the nation’s leading card benefits program for active duty, military veterans and families, announced that Extended Stay America, the largest owner-operated extended stay hotel brand in the nation, has created an exclusive offer for those enrolled in Veterans Advantage and carry the VetRewards Card.

Extended Stay America is proud to provide Veterans Advantage members a newly created 18% discount on stays of 1-90 nights. Veterans Advantage members will enjoy the exclusive 18% discount on top of Extended Stay America’s standard “stay more, save more” discount—resulting in an average savings of $4,000 for guests staying 90 nights.

“We are thrilled to welcome Extended Stay America to our coalition of benefit partners,” said H. Scott Higgins, founder and CEO of Veterans Advantage, and a Vietnam War Veteran. “Extended Stay America savings are a great benefit for our members who are vacationing with family, business travelers, or perhaps visiting an active duty family member and are seeking affordable lodging near a military base.”

The VetRewards Card from Veterans Advantage is accepted nationally by travel industry leaders and top retailers for military savings. In addition to Extended Stay America, other key Veterans Advantage benefit partners include United Airlines, JetBlue Airways, Greyhound, Avis/Budget, Ford & Lincoln Motor Cars, CVS/pharmacy, Dell, Apple, Verizon Wireless & Verizon Fios, among others.

“We are proud to support Veterans Advantage and its mission to advocate for those who serve our country and their families,” said Christopher Thomas-Moore, Vice President of eCommerce and Digital Marketing, Extended Stay America. “This is a terrific opportunity for our company to join this coalition of partners and honor a most deserving group of Americans.”

Loyalty Benefits Combined With Discount Veterans Advantage members are also able to take advantage of Extended Stay America’s

Extended Perkssm rewards program. Membership is free, and members will enjoy savings on future hotel stays as well as discounts at thousands of national and local retailers–amounting to annual savings of up to $2,500.

Veterans Advantage, for its part, includes $50,000 of Global Emergency MedEvac Insurance from The Hartford for members who travel more than 100 miles from home for business or leisure, including those who book their travel at Extended Stay America locations.

Veterans Advantage Secure ID Technology and VetRewards Card
Veterans Advantage members who travel to Extended Stay America destinations will also benefit from the company’s secure ID technology to verify their service. Veterans Advantage protects veterans’ privacy with the issuance and administration of its VetRewards Card, the nation’s leading secure military ID. First established with the National Passenger Rail Corporation, known as “Amtrak”, Veterans Advantage uses FTC recommended de-identification methodology in its verify technology platform to safeguard veterans’ personal information while redeeming military discounts.
